Amber Hampton is Interim Director at George Mason University’s Office of Diversity and Ph.D. Candidate in Higher Education at Florida State University. Her dissertation focuses on Pell Grants and students aged 24 and older attending community colleges. Amber earned a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from Capital University. She has also served as an Associate Director at George Mason University’s Office of Diversity and FSU’s Center for Leadership and Social Change. Amber has co-authored papers in eJournal of Public Affairs and ACPA Developments.
